Upward Bound Program
EFPL hosts students interested in STEM from the Upward Bound program for 6-weeks, where they job shadow our team including assisting with experiments. The Upward Bound program serves high school students from low-income families and families in which neither parent holds a bachelor’s degree.
National Lab Day
EFPL hosts hands-on demonstrations for students to gain some experience with concepts like lift/drag, non-Newtonian fluids, and low-frequency acoustics. Every year we hold a session during the National Lab Day, and we also host other events.
Tours & Hosting Scholars
EFPL regularly hosts visiting scholars as well as provides lab tours to students and the public. The aim is to expose students and the international community to fluid mechanics research as well as bringing top fluid mechanics scholars to OSU to expand the opportunities of our students.
